The Sculptors Alliance has enjoyed an active exhibition history at a variety of galleries and alternative spaces in and around New York City.

Our 40th Anniversary Sculpture Exhibition (originally scheduled to take place in the Fall 2020) has been placed on hold until further noticed due to COVID-19.

As we continue to build these programs, we invite artists to submit proposals for our new online-exhibitions and online-workshops at the Opportunities tab on the main menu. Please read our online-exhibition Open Call, and become involved now!

GO FIGURE

GOVERNOR’S ISLAND, NYC, NOLAN PARK HOUSE 19A

A juried sculpture exhibit, organized by the Sculptors Alliance, opened in June at the popular art destination Governors Island. The human figure has been an abiding subject of sculpture since prehistoric times. This exhibit explored a range of 3D concepts and forms of figurative sculpture that were edgy, expressive, and non-academic.

The exhibit was juried by David C. Terry, independent curator, as well as the Director and Curator of Grants and Exhibitions at New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA).
